Yesterday, Brooklyn moombahtonistas, Sazon Booya, dropped their second EP, Moonlight, via Rot10 Musik! Only four tracks deep, Moonlight provides a small taste of what Sazon Booya is capable of. The song “In Your Eyes” – this is classic Sazon Booya style – has high energy with some seemingly sexy dude saying “you’re the only one for me.” Yup! ”Bombo Tiempo”, a collaboration with Must Die, is another energetic track that sticks to what’s trendy in moombahton right now. Even more impressive are the first two tracks on Moonlight featuring the ethereal, whimsical vocals of Anna Yvette. ”Moonlight” is Sazon Booya’s proper attempt at a moombahsoul track and it’s safe to say they knocked it out of the park with this one. Finally, “Get That Beat” combines the energy of Sazon Booya with the sexiness of Anna Yvette’s voice and moombahsoul to form this unique hybrid of dopeness. Maaaan. "After the support and love we were shown with our first EP, La Bomba, we went back to work on a new project. Altogether we created about 15-20 new songs that we loved, went on tours with skrillex, munchi, nadastrom, dillon francis and 12th planet, made alot of new friends and worked with tons of talented people. So with that being said we are happy to present you with The Moonlight EP. The title track is a moombahsoul single featuring original vocalist Anna Yvette. We’ve dabbled in moombahsoul before but we wanted to really take a stab at it the right way. “Get That Beat” is another song featuring Anna Yvette. The track covers alot of ground from prog house inspired chords, big moombahton build up, jump style drums and spanish guitars with some pianos for breaks. Next is “In Your Eyes” which is typical Sazon Booya styled moombahton. We’ve been playing that track for a while and were happy to get it out. Last but not least is “Bombo Tiempo”, our collaboration with ATL producer MUST DIE. Bombo was made thru the internet in a matter of hours, the track to us is a mixture of whats “In” right now but with our own twist to it. In closing we’d just like to say thank you to the fans for making this possible and making us popular enough to live out our dreams."

Download: Billy the Gent – Through The Wire

IT’S FINALLY HERE!!  Billy The Gent's Through The Wire moombahton compilation has finally reached the airwaves!  Two-man teams of everybody’s favorite moombahtonistas came together to create one of the most anticipated releases of the year.  All these tracks are fire and I didn’t expect anything less upon seeing each production match-up.  I’m particularly obsessed with Paul Devro and Cassius Slay’s “Zimbabwav”.  Can’t. Stop. Listening.  But anyway, while I’m doing that, read what Billy has to say about the creation of Through the Wire: 

"This compilation all began when I started working on a song with DJ Klever (bonus track). We made an entire track over the internet and It got me thinking about how the web brings so many people together with tons of collaborations that would otherwise never be possible. So I ran with that idea and put together an entire compilation of songs made exclusively over the internet. I contacted some of my favorite moombahton producers/bros and literally drew names out of a hat to match up collaborators. The only rules were everyone had one month to complete their song (we all kinda broke this rule) and that you could not meet in person to work on it. When I got all the tracks back, I contacted my friend and fellow Audio Ammo crew member Brian Woodland to design the artwork. Im super happy with the outcome of this, and hopefully you all enjoy!!"
